BMR Gets Involved

Employees of BMR have been putting their hearts into worthy causes for many years now - not to mention their muscles, lungs and the rest of their bodies.

For the past 5 years the MS Society has been a beneficiary of BMR’s involvement. The BMR team has participated in the 2001-2005 MS Bike Tours - a leg-numbing 170-kilometre trip from Musquodoboit Harbour to Truro and back again. As well as meeting the physical challenge of the bike tour, the intrepid athletes exerted themselves with their fundraising efforts each year. In total, the BMR team “Chain Reaction” has raised more than $38,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Research; capturing a 3rd place and two 4th place awards for team fundraising.

It was hard work, but all for a good cause. In fact, the principals and staff of BMR support dozens of non-profit organizations and community events every year. It's what belonging to a community is all about.
