Structural Gymnastics

The proximity of adjacent buildings demanded a precise approach to excavation. The existing foundations under the adjacent building were underpinned and reinforced using rock anchors to ensure their structural stability during excavation work. To facilitate the driveway and parking layouts in the lower levels, BMR performed structural “gymnastics” to transfer substantial loads from the towers above, to suitable locations within the parking
levels below.
